Scavenger Hunt at the Telluride Historical Museum. **Member + Female Guests**
About this event
**Registration Opens 2/02/26 at 8AM MT**
You have never been to the museum- well now is the time to go!
The Telluride Historical Museum is opening just for TWN for a visit and scavenger hunt. The museum is housed in a historic 1896 miner’s hospital that served the community until 1964.
The scavenger hunt will cover the region’s history from its geological formation, the Ute Native Americans, the boom and bust of the mine years, to its development as a ski resort. There is a special exhibit celebrating 50 years of KOTO, founded in 1975, a radio station built by the community for the community.
Plus, bonus questions from the mid 80’s to celebrate TWN’s 40th Anniversary with a focus on Women’s History in Telluride. Our guides will answer any questions you may have. Your $15 fee is a donation to the Museum which is a Smithsonian Affiliate. For those who wish we can pop over to Cornerhouse Grille afterwards for lunch.
