Ouray Dinosaur Track Hike in Ouray **Members Only**

**Registration Opens Monday, August 24, 2026 at 8AM MT**
Bring a picnic lunch and join us for a beautiful up and back hike in Ouray to see the longest documented dinosaur tracks in the world. This was recently opened to the public. The trail is approximately 4.5 miles roundtrip with about a 1700 ft elevation gain. The trail is sun exposed and steep in the beginning and then enters a forested area. We will view and take pictures of the dinosaur tracks and then walk a short distance beyond the tracks to overlook Ouray and have lunch here. Well behaved dogs welcome (bring a leash). Bring water for you and your pup, a raincoat, lunch, hiking shoes, poles and sunscreen for the hike. Total Hiking Time will be around 4 hours. No Event Fee.
Registrants will be notified of any changes due to weather or construction.
