Q. Who do I get in touch with for questions about an event?
A. Contact the Event Contact noted on the event page.
Q. How can I tell when registration opens for an event?
A. From the calendar, click on the event. The registration open date is in red at the top of the event page.
Q. Why don't I see the "Register Now" button on the event page?
A. Be sure you are signed on to the system as only Members are allowed to register for an event. And, check that Registration has opened for the event.
Q. Why does it seem that so often the events I want to attend are already full?
A. Several of our events are quite popular. You will always get an email in advance of registration opening for each event. Our suggestion is that you make note of the date on which registration opens and be prepared to register at that time, which is on the specified date at 8AM MT.
Q. How does the Waitlist work?
A. If the event is full and a Waitlist is available, a "Join Waitlist" selection is available to you on the right side of the event page. You will be notified by email if a spot opens up and you are next in line. You will have 12 hours to respond before it moves on to the next in line on the Waitlist.
Q. Why should I cancel if I am no longer able to attend an event?
A. Cancelling an event online allows the next person on the waitlist to attend. It’s also helpful to both the event coordinator and host to know who is attending
Q. How do I cancel my registration for an event?
A. After logging in and viewing the event, your registration will be noted along with a cancel button. Follow the prompts for cancellation. TWN has a no refund policy unless the event is cancelled by TWN. You will receive an email confirming your event cancellation.
Q. How can I see the names of other Members registered for an event?
A. From the calendar, choose the event in question in order to display the event page. Click on the "people" icon on the right-hand side of that page in order to display the event registrants.
Q. Will I get a "reminder email"?
A. One reminder email is sent out to all members announcing an event has been posted. If you register for an event you will receive a confirmation email. An email will be sent out to event registrants usually 3 days prior to the event. The registrant reminder email will have pertinent information regarding the event.
