Half Day Fly Fishing with Telluride Outside. **Members plus Female Guest**

We will join Telluride Outside for their Rivers of Telluride half-day guided fly-fishing trip, including gear, 1 guide per every 2 people. Among the last free flowing rivers, the San Miguel is Telluride’s backyard gem, a stream where the angler enjoys all of the natural components of trout fishing. Water levels and temperatures are in constant flux as snowmelt, rain and sun influence the streamflow. The San Miguel possesses a rare diversity of aquatic insects which hatch throughout the year, including many species of caddis, stoneflies, mayflies and midges. We have over 20 miles of high quality public water downstream from Telluride, so our guides move freely, potentially fishing several sections of the river in a day. Noted for natural beauty and feisty trout that eat dry flies, our beloved San Miguel is a gifted fly-fishing classroom. The $308.50 fee covers a half day of guided fly fishing, full set of fishing equipment & gear (fly rod, reel, waders & boots) as well as transportation to and from the river. A tip for the guide (15-20%) is greatly appreciated at the end of the trip. Bring layered clothing, sun protection, fleece layers, rain jacket, hat/cap, polarized sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellent, water bottle and a camera or phone. ALL ANGLERS 16 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER MUST POSSESS A VALID COLORADO FISHING LICENSE. Licenses may be obtained in person at Telluride Angler or online. To purchase your license in person, please stop by Telluride Angler a day or two prior to your trip.
