Let’s meet up and cross country (classic) Nordic ski at Trout Lake. It’s an out and back trail (railroad grade), a gentle incline going out, and a gentle decline coming in. It’s a great place to go for cross country skiers of all levels, gentle enough for first-timers even. Dogs are welcome. Dress in layers, hat, sunglasses, gloves and water. You’ll need cross country skis, boots, and poles. Bring your own or you can rent your equipment either at the Alpineer in town or the Telluride Nordic Center.
